Admissions Procedure
Initial Interest

Visit
We welcome you to visit North London Grammar School on our Open Events or Private School Tours.
Entrance Test
Book an entrance test at the cost of £75. Our entrance tests are held once a month.
Outcome of the entrance test will be emailed to you, and you will be requested to send your child’s latest school report and a copy of their passport.
Registration
After a successful entrance test and appropriate school report, your child will need to be registered with NLGS. You can do so by making a payment of our £240 (UK) or £450 (International) Registration Fee. Payment can be made using our online payment
Interview
An online interview will be arranged once your child has been registered with North London Grammar School. After a successful interview, your child will be offered a place at North London Grammar School. At this stage, you will receive an Offer Letter and an Acceptance Form. If you wish to accept, both forms and further forms need to be signed and returned at your earliest convenience.
To Be Placed on The Nlps/nlgs Acceptance List
For your child to be placed on the accepted list, you will be asked to pay a £1250 deposit into our bank account. (Please use your child’s name as the reference and deposit e.g. deposit/John Smith).
- This deposit is refundable only after a minimum of one academic year’s attendance and deduction of any outstanding amounts when the child leaves the school.
- The deposit is forfeited in the event of subsequent withdrawal before actually joining the school.
- The deposit is forfeited if the child attends less than one academic year at the school.
- The deposit is forfeited if the child leaves the school without terms notice period after a full academic year.
