The Blue School is a high-performing, happy school where we promote Christian values and guide children's growth into caring and responsible global citizens. Ensuring children achieve high standards is our top priority while encouraging every child to discover the joy of learning.

Our outstanding provision ensures that children achieve well in Maths, English, Science and RE. Beyond this, we ensure they learn and experience more through a rich, creative curriculum, which is fit for the 21st Century.

The extended day enables pupils to have fun with their friends and to excel in areas where they have individual talents. Activities include sports, choir, learning an instrument and the arts. Children are encouraged to develop leadership skills and personal confidence through a range of roles such as librarians, eco-leaders, charity leaders or through involvement in our School and Sports Councils.

We strive to encourage the growth of spiritual and moral values based on the principles of the Christian faith by maintaining a well-disciplined, yet happy and nurturing environment.

• We wish to instill in our children the desire to respect themselves, respect others and promote a positive attitude to race, gender, ability and background.
• We place great value on the opinions of each pupil and we aim to encourage our children to share their thoughts and ideas whilst appreciating those of others.
• We feel that these aims should increase the capacity for each child's enjoyment and fulfilment, as well as giving greater awareness of the needs of others.
