Westminster Primary School

We follow the national curriculum for all subjects. Religious education (RE) is taught in line with guidance from Birmingham Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE). Following a review of our curriculum, we have revised our long and medium term plans. We have created a bespoke curriculum selecting the most significant knowledge and skills for each subject. We have included opportunities for pupils to revisit key content so that they are secure in their knowledge and skills.

We hold regular parents' meetings where your child's progress is discussed in detail. If you would like to discuss your child's learning at any other time, please make an appointment and our staff will be happy to see you. We are very proud of the amazing progress made by the children at our school, as a result of our rich curriculum and high quality teaching. This is due in very great part to the dedication and hard work of an amazing group of support and teaching staff, led by an inspirational, forward-thinking Headteacher. We offer a rich, vibrant learning and teaching environment for children, staff and parents. There is a wide range of activities outside the classroom for our children and they are responding magnificently to these opportunities.
