Our vision is to embrace who we are, where we have come from, and what we do. All people develop and share their gifts and talents to reach out to the world. All people feel God’s loving presence in all areas of life. All people are respected for their uniqueness and are valued as members of the community. All people are active learners who experience, explore and create to develop their potential. Confidence in all people’s abilities and talents is fostered and nurtured. All people grow in love of self and neighbour.

My aim is to give you an insight into our wonderful school. It’s an honour to be the Principal of St Timothy’s Primary School because of the high levels of academic achievement and the excellent reputation for the care and nurture we provide all children at our school.

To learn more about our school, we recommend starting with our online video tour. We have professionally produced dozens of videos that give you the opportunity to meet me, our teachers, some students, current parents, learn about our curriculum opportunities, tips to a smooth transition into school and so much more.

It’s no real secret that the quality of a school is largely influenced by the quality of the staff. We are so fortunate to have a rich diversity of talent, experience, enthusiasm and energy and our teachers truly care. They care for your children and they want nothing more than the best for them. We also believe teaching children is NOT only done at school. We strive hard to build partnerships with you – our parents. It’s what makes us who we are.

At St Timothy’s we educate the Heart and Mind ‘nurturing’ the whole child and ensuring that our students are prepared for the contemporary world.

St Timothy’s caters for a range of learning styles and provides a rich and engaging curriculum delivery. In addition to a strong core Victorian Curriculum in English and Mathematics, we offer a number of specialist subjects providing a wide range of opportunities for children to flourish, including Visual Arts, Physical Education, Drama, Music, STEAM (Science Technology, Engineering Maths and Arts) and Mandarin.

At St Timothy’s we passionately embrace positive behaviours towards the environment and social justice issues.

A warm and welcoming community, we value the uniqueness of each child and encourage parental involvement. Our vibrant parent community, provides many opportunities to be actively involved in school life.
