St. Nicholas’ English Kindergarten was founded in 1971. With a history of more than forty years, it has become one of the leading and most respected kindergartens in Hong Kong. St. Nicholas’ prides itself on being among the first to model itself on the principles of the work of Maria Montessori, and makes it its top priority to apply her model’s teaching methods and strategies throughout the school.

Despite our history of over forty years as a Montessori-based kindergarten, it has always been our passion to provide our students with a creative learning basis. St. Nicholas’ English Kindergarten is located on a beautiful 11,000 square foot campus in the highly prestigious area of Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong. Our two-level campus houses the Nursery classrooms on the ground floor, and the Lower and Upper kindergarten classrooms on the first floor. The entire playground on the ground floor is covered with safe, flexible matting to provide a secure and supportive learning environment.

Each member of our dedicated teaching staff is highly qualified and certified as instructors of Early Childhood Education. We strive to nurture each child’s self-esteem and confidence to their full potential through our enriched academic, art, science, athletic and leadership opportunities.
