LCC is a coeducational College which offers Christian education from Early Learning to VCE. We recognize that each child is a unique and special creation of a loving God and is to be treated with great care. We desire to complement the very important role of parents by providing a learning environment that is safe, caring and inspiring. The College offers modern and well resourced facilities creating optimal conditions for learning. At Lighthouse we value excellence in education and foster Christian faith and character. The primary department of Lighthouse Christian College offers students high quality learning opportunities, in a well established and caring environment. Lighthouse Christian College aims to provide an engaging and joyful experience of schooling which is specifically suited to the developmental needs of students in Years Five, Six, Seven and Eight.This experience of schooling encompasses not only the formal curriculum structured around the key learning areas of Christian Studies, English, Mathematics, Science, Studies of Society and the Environment, Technology, the Arts, and Health and Physical Education, but also addresses the social, emotional, physical and spiritual development of students through activities and programs within and outside the classroom.A range of co curricular activities are arranged throughout the year in the form of camps, excursions, sporting activities, concerts and many others. Since 2010 a special Year 9 program has included a City Experience.
