Fees & Funding

We are always pleased to have the opportunity to share our vision for Christian education with new families and would encourage you to come and explore this with us. We are currently welcoming applications for Reception, Year 1, Year 2, Year 4 and Year 5 for and Reception, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 5 and Year 6 for September .

We recognise that pupils benefit most from their life at CFS the earlier they start a Christ-centred educational career. To encourage this, if pupils move from lower school to middle school the annual supplement of £800 is waived as per the fee structure. In addition, for new families we ease the transition by reducing fees for the first lower school child by 50% for the first year when they join the school.

In a spirit of partnership with parents, our committed team of teachers receive significantly lower than average teaching salaries in order to keep fees less than most other similar independent schools. There is an understanding that the community works together collaboratively, such that parents and church communities resource the school in other ways, such as donations, volunteering, sourcing equipment and pupil sponsorship. A one-time fee of £30.00 per family is payable on entry to the school, to cover administration costs.

Reduced Fees When You Join

For new families joining us, we want to make the transition to paying fees easier. To support this the School has a "Reduced Fees" policy for one child in the first year that the family joins the school, as long as they join in Lower School. Our policy is that the fees for one Lower School child per family joining us will be 50% for their first year in Lower School.

If two or more children from the same family join at the same time and at least one joins Lower School, then the eldest Lower School pupil will be considered to be the 'First'.

School Fee Reviews

Each year the governors review the school fees for the following academic year. Any increases in fees are applied in September and normally announced in May.

Additional Monthly Gifts

We do not receive funding from the government or any other external body, but keep the school fees as low as possible to provide Christ-centred education to as many families as possible

Fee Donations
We believe it is reasonable for families who may be able to afford to contribute more to consider making additional monthly donations to meet the financial needs of the school. A number of families make donations each month, some as much as £500 per child per month. This is an entirely voluntary payment eligible for Gift Aid.

We do recognise that every family’s situation is different (such as where income is made up solely or mainly from one parent and is somewhat less tax efficient; or where you are self-employed and your income varies). Please contact the Principal or Bursar at any time to discuss this further.
