D Y Patil University was established in 2002 with a vision to provide quality education in all spheres of high learning and health services in India. The university has evolved to become a leader in nine specific constituents graduating students in different fields. There have been thousands of students that have absorbed professional education. The university believes in creating evangelists of knowledge, people who spread the light quiet literally. Our alumni are a testimony to the D. Y. Patil model of studies. D Y Patil Sports Academy’s Stadium has been universally applauded by sports critics as the finest sporting facility in India and has been rated as one of the 6 best stadiums in the world by the British Architect’s Journal.

The University uses Simulation technology which has set new standards in Education especially in Medical Education. Medical simulation has become a supplement to ward based bed side learning. Medical Simulation uses personnel devices and technology to mimic scenarios as observed in real patients and in various disease condition. This helps undergraduate and post graduate students to learn and acquire skills in diagnostic and invasive therapeutics without compromising the autonomy and safety of a real patient.
