CIPEC (Centre International pour l’Education et la Culture) was created in 1984, becoming the first bilingual, international kindergarten and primary school in Provence.
Adopting an English – French bilingual system, it welcomes children from all over the world. As well as an education, CIPEC is place where different cultures mix and share together.
Focus on children's education
Kindergarten and Primary school are fundamental in children’s social, educational and future professional lives, as well ad their personal growth. With this in mind, CIPEC teachers spend each day focusing on a common goal: to develop each pupil’s potential by giving them the tools to succeed.
Our teaching methods are adapted to every child’s unique personality, interests and rhythm.
CIPEC is set in the heart of the Provençal countryside on the outskirts of Aix-en-Provence. The Domaine de Fontvieille welcomes the children to its rustic bastide and sprawling campus tucked away in the middle pine and oak forest. Spanning over 2 hectares of land, children are stimulated by building cabins in the woods, playing many sports, and participating in outdoor activities.
Since its inception, CIPEC teachers have been caring, reassuring and motivating to their pupils. What do they have in common? Skills, tolerance, a desire to succeed, responsibility, innovation and above all, a love for children!
CIPEC’s familial atmosphere makes for strong links between parents’ involvement with their children’s education. Parental involvement is also active through the different charitable events when parents, children, and teachers can work together.
Regular communication between parents and teachers takes place all year to benefit the progress of each pupil.

Je garde des souvenirs merveilleux de ma scolarité au CIPEC. Que de bons souvenirs et le plaisir d'appendre au quotidien,encadrée par une équipe d'exception , dans un lieu unique. Notre fille vient à son tour de passer 3 ans au CIPEC. Elle s' y est formidablement épanouie. Merci à Mr et Mme Pecnard, à Miss Susan et à tous les professeurs qui ont contribué à aider notre fille à grandir et à faire en sorte qu'elle soit une enfant heureuse d'aller à l'ecole jour après jour ( particulièrement les mercredis pour la cooking class!!! :) ) Elle a tant appris. Excellent international kindergarten and primary school. A program that is really adapted to the rhythm of children, mixing traditional subjects taught in French and English, and personal development (sport, arts, music). All in an environment conducive to the development of children.

Ma fille a fait sa scolarité au cipec et si il y a bien une chose que ne regretterai jamais c est bien le cipec un grand merci à monsieur et madame Pecnard ainsi que toute l équipe de professeurs qui font un travail remarquable !!! Une école hors du commun ou votre enfant ne sera pas qu un numero !!! La meilleure école de toute la région !!!

Si le CIPEC n'existait pas, il faudrait l'inventer ! Une école internationale formidable au sein de laquelle on apprend la tolérance et l'apprentissage des autres cultures, une école de rêve pour chaque enfant et chaque parent.

Cipec est une excellente école. Ma fille y était pendant cinq ans. Elle a beaucoup aimé et beaucoup pleuré quand elle a fini sa scolarité. Mr et Mme Pecnard et les autres professeurs sont exemplaires. Je recommande fortement cette école de grande qualité.

This is the school every parents dream of for their children. A very good teaching with teachers listening to their students, and their levels. A Recreation class in the woods where we do cabins, Sports every afternoon, a vegetable garden and an organic restoration, shared values, a team of teachers for some in the school for more than 30 years . Mr and mrs pecnard at the management, who are giving themselves to our children. All this beautiful energy shared by all parents and their children with the whole teaching team. Let's go for a second beautiful year for our two children!
