Buds International School Phuket is the oldest established child care facility and provider of quality education in Phuket. At Buds, we offer schooling from nursery to primary levels. This boutique international school in Chalong, Phuket is designed specifically as a nursery, kindergarten and primary school facility in order to provide your child with the best possible learning environment. We cater to international and Thai children between the ages of 12 months and 12 years. We are open Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 5pm. Extra English and Thai classes from 3pm to 4pm and aftercare to 5pm is also available. Emphasis is placed on teaching your child how to get along and communicate with children of their own age from enthusiastic and experienced staff.
Our basic goal is to help your child achieve a great head start in today’s world by giving them a good basis of English and developing their social skills with both their peers and the teachers and adults on the staff. At Buds International School, we will help your child learn English in a structured, planned environment. Math, science, arts and crafts, as well as Thai language are also taught. Whenever possible we communicate with the children in English.
We also strive to do fun things in groups to teach our children how to get along with and relate to others in their own age group, as well as get along our adult teachers. This of course helps develop the children’s social skills that are so important in today’s society. At the same time we try to make sure that the children really enjoy their time and experience here at the school by having as much fun as possible while still learning. Our physical activities are designed to further develop our students’ fine motor skills. We also offer a Swimming class to children three years and above which takes place Wednesday through Friday and is at a local public swimming pool. Of course the safety of our children is always uppermost in our mind; among other things we have a locked gate, padded play areas, and a trained nurse on the staff. We are focused strictly on providing our children with a great head start in life both in our nursery and kindergarten. We do not provide overnights or do evening and or weekend daycare.
Buds International School has been a reputable place for young minds to grow for over 20 years. Over the years we have created a proven system that provides children with all of the necessary knowledge and tools to build a bright future. Our passionate, dedicated and experienced staff create the optimal atmosphere for education and learning.
We are committed in providing a safe stimulating learning environment. Our curriculum will give our students the tools to: maximize their potential for academic achievement, to become culturally sensitive and internationally minded, to develop their critical thinking skills, confidence and character, that enable them to achieve their lifelong dreams and be leaders who can contribute to our global community.
