St. Norbert College

Welcome to the Only Norbertine College in the World. Since 1121, members of the religious order founded by Norbert of Xanten have embraced a tradition of radical hospitality. Today, at St. Norbert College, that same tradition is enthusiastically extended to you. At St. Norbert, all are welcome.

Much has changed since 1898 when the college was founded to train young men for the priesthood, yet the deep sense of community you will find here remains strongly rooted in the Norbertine order. As our mission states, we are dedicated to providing an education that fosters intellectual, spiritual and personal development.

Choosing a college that’s right for you involves many factors, none more important than finding a learning environment that challenges and supports you through four years of unforgettable discovery.

St. Norbert College offers more than 40 programs, backed by one of the best four-year graduation rates in the Midwest and our four-year graduation guarantee.

More than 93 percent of alumni report being employed or attending graduate school when surveyed nine months after graduation – a testament to the close personal attention our students receive in class, through the Honors Program, science labs, performance spaces, undergraduate research projects and study abroad.

We offer more than 40 programs – and if that isn’t enough, you can design your own major. Students have turned minors into majors or developed something uniquely their own. This is your place to explore and experience. Targeted, flexible and adaptive – graduate programs at St. Norbert College attract highly motivated professionals and extraordinary faculty.

Beyond your GPA and test scores, our admission team looks for students with the intellectual capacity to understand the world, and the character to improve it.

There’s no better way to discover if a college is right for you than by spending time on campus. We invite you to participate in a day of discovery that will help you assess everything St. Norbert has to offer. Experience for yourself the unique opportunities available at St. Norbert.

At St. Norbert you’ll find there is more to college life than just attending classes. With more than 90 clubs and organizations on campus, a calendar packed with performances, lectures, social and athletic events, and a ton of local shops and restaurants, our world is yours for the taking.

We are a four-year residential campus, which means most students live on campus all four years. There are 16 campus living options, including residence halls, townhouses, apartment-style suites, college houses and themed housing for students with similar interests. You might reside in living areas dedicated to service-learning, the Honors Program or global communities. No matter which place you end up calling home, you’ll discover extreme community — that perfect combination of living, learning, working and playing together that is so unique to the St. Norbert experience.
