The Art Institute of Boston

We empower students to become dynamic, thoughtful leaders in education, mental health counseling, and the arts. Located in the heart of Cambridge, Massachusetts, home to the world’s best-known universities, Lesley University combines an intensely creative environment with the practical experience students need to succeed in their careers. Each year, about 2,000 undergraduate and close to 4,500 graduate students pursue degrees on campus, off site, online, and through our low-residency programs. Along with our 85,000 alumni, they’re discovering the power of creativity to overcome obstacles, foster connections, and reveal fresh answers to the world’s problems.

Our award-winning faculty and talented staff are dedicated to making the Lesley experience excellent and ensuring that we are challenging ourselves to do our best and to be the best at what we do. Undergraduate and graduate students across Lesley challenge themselves to learn by exploring, inquiring, experimenting and applying. They bridge theory and practice and work to develop themselves as intellectually curious learners. Whether our graduates serve their communities as educators and school leaders, environmentalists and entrepreneurs, visual artists and writers, counselors and therapists, or in countless other ways, they carry with them the knowledge, discipline, and experience to help strengthen the lives of individuals, families, communities, and organizations.
