Emerging Markets Private Equity

This 3 day foundation course provides an overview of Emerging Markets private equity.  It gives an overview of the landscape, explains the approach of PE practitioners towards company valuation and illustrates the investment processes of a PE fund.

The course will explain how PE funds are organised and how they manage their portfolio of investments.  The course is organised around morning lectures, which are reinforced by mini case studies based upon real examples.

The morning session is made more real by simulation exercises in the afternoon sessions.  The simulation exercises are based upon real investments the instructor made.  By the end of the course delegates should have achieved a solid grounding in the basics of PE and the Emerging Markets aspects of PE
