IB MYP Language Acquisition - Spanish & French

Job Summary

Due to GEMS International School’s continued success, in response to enrollment demands, we are happy to announce an expansion in the Middle Years Program. As such we are looking for a qualified, experienced and committed IB MYP Language Acquisition Teacher on an IMMEDIATE basis. The ideal candidate will have:

• A certified professional teaching qualification at degree level, such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent specializing in Spanish and French.
• A minimum of 2 years of solid and demonstrable IB MYP French & Spanish teaching experience ideally within an IB Curriculum at Middle School
• Experience teaching EAL or English is advantageous
• International School experience (preferable but not essential)
• The desire to provide outstanding teaching and learning
• Aspiration to work in a world class school with real prospects for enhancing their career
