Business Finance Associate

Job Summary

Operational

• To ensure complete and accurate postings of financial records, this role is responsible to perform the following tasks:
• Maintain excellence in service delivery by timely response time to queries from QRH Commercial teams and external parties including suppliers and Sutherland Global Services (SGS).
• Accurate postings of Daily Sales transactions.
• Perform checks on sales documents and liaise with QRH Commercial teams.
• Validate booking refund requests, account for the correct reversal entries and process payments to customers in accordance to the applicable Finance policies.
• Match supplier invoice payable to supplier accrual for the QRH trading business.
• Provide assistance to QRH Finance team to address any query from QRH Commercial teams.
• Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

• Keep abreast with any market trends and developments
• Assist in the response to any emergency or a major operational disruption affecting
• Train Qatari staff in various duties as per business requirements

• Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, security, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the operation to guarantee employee safety, security, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality service with a responsible environmental attitude.
• Take a direct and personal interest in reported injuries, incidents, near misses and hazards to ensure that appropriate reporting, investigation and response is being achieved.

About You

Qualifications

Essential

• Relevant Vocational, Tertiary or Trade qualification
• Major in Accounting or Finance

Previous Experience

Essential
Minimum 3 years relevant experience

Job Specific Skills

Essential

• Proficient in MS Word and Excel
• Fluency in both written and spoken English
• An experienced user of an ERP system, preferably Oracle
