Dubai American Scientific School (DASS), a private school providing high-quality American education in Dubai, in collaboration with Mosaica Education, Inc. (MEI), a global leader in education reform, has announced that the two parties will jointly pursue various investment opportunities in education in the Middle East and North Africa (Mena), leveraging the new, tailor-made education model that has been jointly introduced by DASS and Mosaica for schools in the Mena region.
DASS and MEI hosted a special dinner yesterday (September 29, 2010) at Atlantis The Palm in Dubai to commemorate the recent signing of the first-of-its-kind partnership to promote the groundbreaking education model.
It was also announced during the ceremony that Hikmat AlHaj Al-Kaitoob, Vice Chairman, DASS, will now concurrently serve as Mosaica’s Ambassador to the Mena to focus on promoting the specially developed education model in the region. Aside from helping identify investment opportunities in education in the region, the new Mosaica Ambassador will also be responsible for networking activities, and maintaining consistently high standards and excellence of MEI schools in the Mena. Al-Kaitoob is also scheduled for a tour of over 70 public schools managed by MEI in the USA, where she will be meeting various members of MEI USA.
